John Hornbeck 
John Hornbek, an Anglo, is married to renowned Navajo silversmith Sylvia Adakai. Together they have owned and operated Red Shell Jewelry in Gallup, NM for over 40 years. He got his start in making jewelry as a bench caster for Hopi jewelry notable, Preston Monongye. John eventually became an accomplished jeweler in his own right, and is known for his tufa cast creations.
