I have my grandma's set of everyday dishes, and anything mid-century like this Royal China bowl that isn't a part of that set must have been purchased individually or given as a gift (or, my grandma loved attending farm auctions in her area, so maybe this bowl came in a box of assorted kitchenware?).  This rooster weathervane bowl could be used as a fruit bowl, vegetable bowl, a serving bowl, or a soup bowl for someone with a hearty appetite!  Measures 9" diameter at the rim, and stands 2" tall at the rim.
