Art Deco Czech brooch. It features a prominent rectangular, cut-corner cabochon light green molded glass, chrysoprase, or faux jade. It has faint molded detail lines running across the face. The setting is decorated with a frame of green enamel work fashioned into delicate leaf and floral patterns at the corners. Accent Settings Interspersed along the top, bottom, and sides are small square and round bezel-set rhinestones or glass cabochons in shades of teal and emerald green.


The back of the brooch provides excellent clues that confirm its age and origin as a piece of 1920s to early 1930s European. It features an open "C" clasp.

The frame is a stamped brass filigree panel.
