Up for auction is an original 5" x 25" Standard theater mylar for Resident Evil (2026).
Directed by Zach Cregger, the filmmaker behind Weapons and Barbarian, this new Resident Evil story follows Bryan, a medical courier played by Austin Abrams, as one horrifying night turns into a fight for survival. The film arrives in theaters September 18, 2026.
This Standard design features Bryan crouched against a stained wall, clutching a knife beside a blood-covered telephone. The distressed red Resident Evil title fills the center, with “From the Director of Weapons and Barbarian” printed above it. The worn wallpaper, heavy shadows, and small details around the room give the artwork a grim survival-horror look.
Mylars in this long, narrow format were used in lighted signs outside movie theater auditoriums to identify the film playing inside. They make an interesting piece of theater memorabilia and are easy to display in a home theater, movie room, or horror collection.
The first photo shows the actual Resident Evil Standard mylar illuminated in a lightbox. The second shows the same mylar normally, without backlighting. The final photo shows a different mylar displayed at an actual movie theater and is included only as an example of how these were originally used. The mylar in that final reference photo is not included.
Lightbox is not included.
