This Antique German Pink Fairing Pig Porcelain half in the Trough Spill Vase Match holder trinket dish is a charming and unique collectible piece.

Back in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries, German Pink Fairings were made to serve as whimsical carnival prizes, affordable "sixpenny" prizes, symbols of good luck and wealth, novelty gifts and travel souvenirs.

Estate sale find.  This has some paint wearing off of the pig, as seen in the photos. No chips, cracks or crazing.
