This sweet scratch built box has been made from wooden crates and painted green. 

Finished with a metal clasp to close and a metal handle to the top. 

The hand written paper labels to the sides show this was used to hold leather belts of various sizes presumably for use in a workshop or by the craftsman who owned it. 

Now a great piece for styling and display, although it still remains sturdy and string enough to use for storing items still. 

Signs of wear and age with some loss and damage to one corner. We have treated the wood and given it a light wax for protection. 

Measures 45cm wide x 15cm high x 18cm deep.
