Vaer A5 Field Black USA Automatic 40mm field watch, powered by the highly regarded Japanese Miyota 9015 24-jewel automatic movement and assembled in the United States.
This is an earlier-generation example of Vaer's original A5 automatic field watch, a model first introduced in 2019. It combines classic military-inspired field-watch styling with a slim stainless-steel case, sapphire crystal, screw-down crown and exhibition caseback.
The black dial features highly legible white Arabic numerals, inner 24-hour markings, yellow minute accents and a contrasting red seconds hand. The dial is marked VAER / AUTOMATIC / 100m / AMERICAN ASSEMBLY.
The exhibition caseback displays the Miyota 9015 automatic movement, marked 24 Jewels, with a signed VAER rotor. The Miyota 9015 is a high-beat automatic movement operating at 28,800 beats per hour with approximately a 42-hour power reserve.

The watch is tested and currently running, and the crown, winding and time-setting functions operate properly.
Included with the watch are the original Vaer presentation box, Certificate of Authenticity/water-resistance test certificate, specifications and care documentation, and original-style black Vaer rubber/silicone strap with signed buckle.
Also included is one half of a brown Vaer leather strap with signed Vaer buckle, as pictured. The other half of the leather strap is missing, so it is included as an extra only and is not currently usable as a complete watch strap.
The stainless-steel case shows normal pre-owned cosmetic wear, including visible scratches and surface marks, particularly on the bezel and caseback. The black dial and sapphire crystal present very well. Please review all photographs carefully for exact condition.
The watch was originally rated and individually documented as tested to 10 ATM / 100 meters. Because it is now a pre-owned watch and has not been recently pressure tested, current water resistance is not guaranteed.
