Godin Grand Concert Duet

Godin, which arrived in Japan in the 1990s, quickly became a standard brand for acoustic-electric guitars due to its realistic sound and ease of use, and is a reputable Canadian brand favored by professional users.

The body has a completely hollow structure, achieving both lightness and a resonant sound, and the dual pickup specification, which has a contact pickup that picks up vibrations from the top plate in addition to the regular piezo pickup, is the origin of the name "Duet".

While conventional piezo pickups are resistant to feedback and suitable for increasing volume, they also have weaknesses such as being too tight in picking response and having a crackly sound. By blending in another contact pickup that deliberately suppresses the response and acts like an ambient microphone, an "airy" feel is created.

The Grand Concert has a long-scale neck with a nut width of approximately 51mm, and instead of a 16-fret joint, a 12-fret joint is deliberately used to prioritize tone. The slightly larger body than the standard DUET produces an acoustic resonance while ensuring excellent feedback resistance, making it a model that meets the demands of users seeking the feel of a genuine classical guitar.

The neck is perfectly straight. The truss rod has heavy torque, but it is adjustable in both directions, allowing for a slight back bow.

This product is a professional specification model equipped with a balanced output in addition to a standard phone jack. Due to its design, the power does not automatically turn on or off when plugging or unplugging a cable. When not in use, please remember to turn off the power using the slide switch on the jack plate to save battery power.

Although there are widespread scratches and minor wear commensurate with its age, the functionality, including the electrical system, is good. A genuine hardshell case with the logo is included.
