Modular design: base unit is a 4‑port hub, with three removable modules (each with 1 port) so you can configure your own multifunction hub.
Upstream port: 1 (connects to PC)
Downstream ports: base 4 ports + 3 modules = 7 total downstream ports.
Power supply: 5 V DC, 4.0 A adapter included. Allows full 500 mA per port (USB standard) for downstream devices.
Per‑port current: up to 500 mA downstream. If you add a 4‑port hub module above the base, you need extra power to maintain full per‑port current.
Operating temperature: typical 5 °C to 40 °C; storage / non‐operating: ‑20 °C to 60 °C.
Hot‑plug / Plug & Play: works with Windows (95 Rev B, 98, 2000) and Mac OS 8.1 or higher.

Maximum data rate (baud rate) up to ~230 kbps.
Works with Windows (older OSes such as Windows 95 Rev B, Windows 98) out of the box.
Powered from the USB bus (no external power supply required). Power consumption is listed (normal operation ~70 µA; suspend higher).
