• 37-inch Full HD LED LCD display — 1920 × 1080 resolution with an IPS panel and LED backlight. Panasonic specifies a wide 178° viewing angle.
• Intelligent Frame Creation — increases the effective frame count to reduce judder and produce smoother motion.
• Built-in Freeview HD and Freesat HD — it has DVB-T/T2 terrestrial and DVB-S/S2 satellite tuners, so UK HD broadcasts can be received without a separate Freeview/Freesat box, assuming the appropriate aerial or satellite dish is connected.
• USB hard-drive recording — digital TV programmes can be recorded to a compatible registered USB HDD and played back through the TV. Timer Programming can schedule recordings or programme reminders.
• Media playback — photos, video and music can be played from USB storage. There's also an SD/SDXC card slot, with support including AVCHD HD video and DivX.
• Network features / early Smart TV functionality — built-in Ethernet plus optional Wi-Fi via Panasonic's USB wireless adapter. DLNA lets the TV access compatible photos and videos stored on PCs or other media servers on the home network.
• VIERA CAST internet services — Panasonic's pre-smart-TV internet platform provided access to services such as photos, videos and weather; the manual also mentions video communication such as Skype with appropriate equipment.
