โ ๏ธ Before You Buy โ Two Things to Check
1. Port type. This adapter requires a Thunderbolt 3, 4 or 5, or a USB4 port. It will not work in a standard USB-C port. Thunderbolt ports are marked with a lightning-bolt symbol; USB4 ports are usually labelled on the machine or in its specification.
2. Windows and Linux need a driver. macOS works without any driver. On Windows and Linux you must install the free Marvell AQtion driver (chipset AQC113) from Marvell's support site before the adapter will function.

The OWC Thunderbolt 4 10G Ethernet Adapter adds 10 Gigabit wired networking to any Mac or PC with a Thunderbolt or USB4 port โ up to ten times the speed of standard Gigabit Ethernet.

Please note: to reach 10G speeds you also need a 10G-capable switch, router or NAS at the other end. On a standard Gigabit network the adapter will still work, but at 1 Gb/s. AVB functionality requires an AVB-compatible switch or router.
