Sansui TU-7700 FM/AM stereo tuner, a Japanese high-end separate component from the mid-1970s. It was sold as the tuner counterpart to the Sansui AU-7700 integrated amplifier, and it carried a list price of 65,000 yen in Japan at the time. This is a receive-only tuner for FM and AM broadcast; it has no transmitting function. The unit is a used vintage item offered in as-is condition.

Condition Details

  • Power-on has been confirmed. No other function has been verified, as we do not have the equipment to test reception or audio output. Sold as-is.
  • The knob for the POWER switch is missing.
  • Scuffs and light scratches are present on the cabinet and front panel from age and use; overall the unit is clean for its years.
  • Built for 100V mains, so a step-down transformer is needed for use outside Japan.
