Vintage 1976 Matchbox Lesney Superfast No. 30 Swamp Rat – Original Box

A very nice original example of the Matchbox Superfast No. 30 Swamp Rat, produced by Lesney in England.

The model features an olive green military-style airboat with tan soldier and rifle, detailed black engine and three-blade propeller, yellow/green camouflage side decoration and SWAMP RATS graphics.

The underside is marked:

Includes its attractive original Matchbox 75 Superfast illustrated box.

Condition:

The model presents very well for its age. Soldier and rifle are intact, the engine and propeller are present, and the side graphics remain bright and clear. There is some light age/play wear and marking, particularly to the underside.

The original box displays well with strong colour and graphics but does show age and storage wear, including edge and corner wear, creasing and some crushing/distortion to the ends.
