Shimano 13 Stella SW 14000XG Saltwater Spinning Reel

Shimano's flagship saltwater spinning reel from the 2013 Stella SW generation, in the 14000XG size for offshore and big-game fishing. This is a used reel from Japan and it is sold with its box, bag, spare shaft, spool band and instruction manual. The handle has been swapped for an aftermarket long handle, and the original Shimano handle is included with the reel.

Condition Details

  • Used condition with clear signs of fishing use
  • Scratches and scuffing scattered across the body
  • Scratches and rub marks around the reel foot, with the base material exposed in places
  • Light small scratches on the spool body; the spool edge is in sound shape
  • Gritty, rough feeling and a shrill running noise while reeling - an overhaul is recommended, though the reel can be used as-is
  • Handle knob turns well but some roughness is felt
  • Handle replaced with an aftermarket long handle; the original handle is included and also shows scratches
