Rare oval shape and neon green

It’s a vintage GAI-Tronics heavy-duty industrial/weatherproof telephone enclosure, made in Reading, Pennsylvania. Appears to be the cast-metal/aluminum type with a spring-loaded, self-closing door, rather than the newer plastic enclosures. GAI-Tronics made this type of equipment for industrial plants, transportation facilities and other harsh environments. Spring load is very strong
