Samsung DVD-V2000 DVD/VHS dual deck combo player being sold FOR PARTS OR REPAIR due to the VCR/VHS portion not functioning properly. Manufactured July 2002.

The DVD player has been tested and works normally. DVD playback produces both picture and sound as expected, as shown in the photos. The front panel buttons and controls have also been tested and are functioning.

IMPORTANT: The VCR/VHS portion DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY. When a VHS tape is inserted, the unit accepts the tape and acts as though it is attempting to play, but the tape does not actually play. To remove the tape during testing, the unit had to be powered off and back on, and the VHS door/flap had to be held open while ejecting the tape. A video is included with this listing demonstrating the VCR/VHS issue so the buyer can see exactly how the unit behaves.

Because of the non-working VCR portion, this entire unit is being sold AS-IS FOR PARTS OR REPAIR. It may be suitable for someone who repairs vintage electronics, needs replacement parts, or wants to use the functioning DVD portion.

No remote is included. Power cord is attached. A/V cables, DVD and VHS tape used for testing are NOT included.
