A genuine 1994 Suzuki LT80, bought from its original owner.
This is a very complete, low-hour LT80 that had seen very little use. When I bought it, it had some surface rust and areas of peeling paint, but underneath it was an exceptionally original and complete quad.
I wanted to preserve it, keeping the paint colors, and quad totally original.
During inspection, I decided to go up .50 on the cylinder, so it was perfectly clean.
Fitted with a new set of tyres chosen to be as close as possible to the OEM appearance and specification.
The original tyres actually still have plenty of tread, but they are cracked from age and the elements,
I also have a set of NOS original Suzuki LT80 tank stickers coming from Japan, expected late September.
If the quad sells before they arrive, the decals will be forwarded to the buyer.
This isn't a rebuilt LT80 made from a collection of parts.
It is a 1994 quad that has remained remarkably complete and original, with the restoration work mainly carried out to preserve it and make it mmechanically perfect, for years to come.
It has the sort of originality that is getting increasingly difficult to find with these old LT80s.
It would make a fantastic addition to a mancave or collection, or you can simply ride it and enjoy it — just look after it as the classic it is.
Everything is here. Nothing has been stripped off or left out.
As it stands, it is very close to how this LT80 would have looked when it left the factory in 1994, aside from the refreshed paintwork, mechanical maintenance and new tyres.
A genuine old LT80 with a lot of its original character still intact.
1994 – 32 years old – increasingly hard to find in this complete condition.
The older, original LT80s are becoming collectible, and I believe the good, complete examples will only become harder to find in the years ahead.
