YAMAHA FG9R Natural 2025 (no260830)

The FG9R, one of Yamaha's flagship acoustic guitar models, has arrived. It features an Adirondack spruce top and Indian rosewood sides and back. The body is entirely solid wood, and the custom scalloped X-bracing and bolt-on neck joint contribute to a dynamic and resonant sound. The simple yet tasteful design details throughout are a testament to its Japanese handcrafted quality. A strap pin has been added to the neck joint upon arrival. While there are some scratches, small dents, and paint reactions throughout, the natural finish makes these imperfections less noticeable and more visible when held up to the light. The remaining bridge saddle thickness is approximately 2.0mm on the 6th string side and 1.5mm on the 1st string side, as viewed from the bridge base. Additionally, the slight indentation in the top plate around the bridge base results in a very low string action, making it easy to press down the strings with minimal effort.
