For sale, 4 vintage, pre-owned SMOKING PIPES.  One I believe is a CORNCOB pipe, 1 “looks” like a CORNCOB pipe, but I think it is wooden, and 2 are WOODEN ones.

I have had them for many years.  I do not even remember where I got them.  I am assuming estate sales, but I do not know for sure. 

I looked up the parts of the pipe to know what to call each part.  They all appear or seem to be 'straight' to me, so I do not know what to call them.  Neither do I know what types of wood they are made of.

One wooden pipe appears to have been used quite a bit.  The wood is somewhat cracked at the mouth of the bowl. On one side of the shank, it has two minor chips in the wood.  The removable part, the tenon, has a white design on the side and some fading designs on the front of it.  This one also has a ‘screen’ on the inside of the bowl.  This one measures approximately 6½”.

  One WOODEN pipe appears to be unused; it is a pretty two-toned wood. The label on the base of the bowl is damaged, and I cannot make out what it had printed on it other than “World Famous ….”.  It measures 6” in length.

This one ‘looks’ like a CORNCOB pipe, but I do not think it is.  It appears to have been used quite a bit.  The tenon on this one pulls off from the shank.   It measures 5½” in length.

The CORNCOB pipe appears to not have been used a whole lot. 
I could not get the tenon to pull off from the shank.  On the side it has stamped in to the tenon “THE TINDER BOX.”  It also has a label with the same information ~ although the information is somewhat messed up.   It measures 4¾” in length.  

I do not know much about pipes, so I do not know what else to describe.  I assume that they were all made in the US, but I have no way of actually knowing this for a fact. 

These are all pre-owned.  I do not know if they were handmade or not.
