4) Olivia Newton John - Physical EMI EMS-91035 Physical is the twelfth studio album by British-Australian singer Olivia Newton-John, released through MCA Records on 13 October 1981. Physical became one of Newton-John's most controversial and sexual records, and Musically, the album features considerable use of synthesizers, and it explores lyrical themes such as love and relationships, sex and environmental protection. The album's title track was a commercial phenomenon, staying 10 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100, at the time tying the record set by Debby Boone's 1977 single "You Light Up My Life". The song and its music video were controversial, having been banned or edited by several radio stations and television channels (such as MTV) for its sexual references. The single was followed by "Make a Move on Me", another top-ten worldwide hit. 

5) Kim Carnes - Mistaken Identity EMI EYS-81427 Mistaken Identity is the sixth studio album by American singer Kim Carnes, released in April 1981 by EMI America Records. The album spent four weeks at number one on the Billboard 200, and was subsequently certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). It was nominated for the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. The album's lead single "Bette Davis Eyes" peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for nine non-consecutive weeks and topped the Hot 100 year-end chart of 1981. It won the 1982 Grammy Awards for Song of the Year and Record of the Year. 6) Sheena Easton - Take My Time EMI EMS-91015 Take My Time is the debut album by UK pop singer Sheena Easton. Released in January 1981, the album reached number 17 in the UK and earned her a Gold Disc. Two months later, a ten track version of the album was released in the US and Canada as Sheena Easton. The album went gold in the US and platinum in Canada.

7) Rosemary Butler - Rose EMI WTP-90248 Still In Shrink w/ hype sticker - Butler worked extensively as a back-up singer for Linda Ronstadt, James Taylor, Warren Zevon, Neil Young, Bonnie Raitt, Boz Scaggs, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Jackson Browne, and Rosanne Cash, among others. She also released a solo studio album, Rose, in 1983, from which the promotional single "You Light Up The Night" was released.
