This is a 5" x 25" theater-style auditorium mylar reissue for The Spy Who Loved Me (1977).
Roger Moore returns as James Bond 007 in one of the biggest and most celebrated entries of his Bond era. Directed by Lewis Gilbert, The Spy Who Loved Me sends Bond on a globe-spanning mission after British and Soviet nuclear submarines mysteriously disappear.
Bond reluctantly joins forces with Soviet agent Major Anya Amasova (Barbara Bach) as their investigation leads to billionaire shipping magnate Karl Stromberg (Curt Jürgens) and his extraordinary plan to destroy civilization and create a new society beneath the sea. The adventure also introduced audiences to Richard Kiel's unforgettable Jaws, one of the most iconic villains in the entire James Bond franchise.
Featuring the spectacular Lotus Esprit submarine car, the massive Liparus supertanker set, breathtaking location photography, and Carly Simon's Oscar-nominated theme "Nobody Does It Better," The Spy Who Loved Me remains a fan-favorite and a defining film of the Roger Moore era.
These narrow mylar banners were traditionally displayed above theater auditorium entrances, making them a unique and less commonly seen form of movie advertising. This mylar recreates the colorful vintage advertising style associated with the film's original 1977 theatrical campaign.
This example is brand new and unused, carefully stored and handled with care, and remains in excellent condition.
