This is a 5" x 25" theater-style auditorium mylar for the 1983 thriller Jaws 3-D.
Directed by Joe Alves, Jaws 3-D takes the action to SeaWorld in Florida, where a massive great white shark infiltrates the park's lagoon and begins terrorizing both employees and visitors. As the danger escalates, marine engineer Mike Brody, the son of Chief Martin Brody, must confront the deadly predator before it claims even more victims.
Starring Dennis Quaid, Bess Armstrong, Louis Gossett Jr., Simon MacCorkindale, and Lea Thompson, Jaws 3-D was the franchise's ambitious leap into the 3D craze of the early 1980s. The film has since earned a devoted cult following among fans of classic creature features and '80s horror.
These narrow mylar banners were traditionally displayed above theater auditorium entrances, making them a unique and less commonly seen form of cinema advertising.
