This is a 5" x 25" theater-style auditorium mylar for Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954), one of the most iconic classic monster films ever produced by Universal Pictures.
Directed by Jack Arnold, Creature from the Black Lagoon follows a scientific expedition into the Amazon, where researchers encounter the mysterious and terrifying Gill-man. Starring Richard Carlson, Julie Adams, and Richard Denning, the film became an instant classic and introduced one of Universal's most recognizable monsters.
This mylar features striking black-and-white artwork of the Creature emerging from the lagoon with his captive, set against a dark, atmospheric jungle backdrop. The dramatic artwork looks especially impressive when displayed as a backlit theater banner.
