My daily runner (with faults) until Friday when I put the parking brake on and left it in drive. Horrible noises and now can’t get parking brake off even pulling release cable in centre console.
Good points. I’m only the second owner from new and I have had it since April 2018. Engine has been bulletproof and runs like a dream. I put new tyres (good ones) on it recently so 4 great Yokohama geolander Xls all round. Worth £400 alone.! One had to be replaced quickly as a gash in it so one nearly new.
Bad points. Had Ac recharged and the heater box now only blows from the footwell. Can here blow change when redirect but no air out. Two rear parking sensors need replacing. The gearbox slow up hills judders, has done since I bought it, mega flush fixed for a long while but it’s back. Left front height sensor cable needs replacing as old one broke off. I have the sensor or a new sensor to wire in afaik. Height keeps dropping as see from photos but on start she raises fine just with warning lights.
Parking brake stick on, can’t drive so needs to be trailered away unless you know how to remove or release a broken parking brake and I have no idea what’s inside as the spring a clearly snapped among their things perhaps! Gutted otherwise might have sensor and kept car as lived with rest for a long while now.
Been offered this sum purely in scrap and going to a salvager Monday so reserve right to end auction early if no bids.
