We are proud to feature the illustrations of John Flaxman in this Color the Classics Coloring Book of The Odyssey. The original 19th century illustrations have been cleaned up, resized, cropped and faded back just the right amount to provide the perfect background for colored pencil, crayons, pastels or other dry mediums. Markers or watercolors can be used with a backing sheet to prevent bleed through.

The Odyssey
Follows the heroic king of Ithaca, Odysseus, and his homecoming journey after the ten-year-long Trojan War. His journey from Troy to Ithaca lasts an additional ten years, during which he encounters many perils. In Odysseus's long absence, he is presumed dead, leaving his wife Penelope and son Telemachus to contend with a group of unruly suitors.
