Description of the object


Obverse (visible face): The image shows a representation of the statue of the Black Virgin of Lorette dressed in her characteristic conical dress and surmounted by a tiara or canopy, framed by the Latin inscription "VIRGO LAURETANA".


Era: This type of triangular or scalloped medal is generally linked to the end of the 19th century (often linked to commemorations or the Congregation of the Holy House of Lorette established in 1883)
