U.C.0096 -- Three years have passed since "Char's Rebellion," when the Neo Zeon Army and the Earth Federation Army clashed.
Siam, the head of the Vist Foundation, decided to hand over "Laplace's Box," which is said to be capable of overthrowing the Earth Federation government if released. He had the current head of the Vist Foundation, Cardeas, plan a meeting with the Neo Zeon remnants known as "The Sleeves." However, the Federation government, aiming to prevent the box from being released, dispatched the special forces units ECOAS and Londo Bell. The battle between the two forces caused devastation in the industrial colony Industrial 7.
Banagher Links, a young boy who was entrusted with the mobile suit "Unicorn," the "key" to "Laplace's Box," by Cardeas on his deathbed, engages in combat with Lieutenant Marida of "The Sleeves" piloting the "Kshatriya," and is then captured by the Londo Bell assault landing ship "Nahel Argama." On board that ship were Banagher's friends Takuya and Micott, as well as Audrey, a girl who had contacted Cardeas in an attempt to prevent the handover of the box. Against the Nahel Argama, a mobile suit appears, challenging it alone. The pilot of the crimson machine known as the Sinanju is none other than Full Frontal, the leader of the Sleeves, who is known as "Char's Reincarnation."
