6 Vtg Corning Pyrex Hotel Restaurant Ware Hilton Monogram 7In Opal Glass Plates

Excellent vintage condition. The white milk glass is bright, glossy, and free of chips or cracks. The gold trim is highly intact with only minor vintage surface wear from stack storage.

Authentic Pyrex Tableware by Corning 7-inch salad/luncheon plates featuring the iconic mid-century gold laurel leaf border and the custom stylized "H" crest custom-made for the historic Hilton Hotel chain during the mid-to-late 20th century (predominantly throughout the 1970s and 1980s.

While it looks like classic milk glass, Corning manufactured its heavy-duty restaurant lines out of an ultra-durable, heat-resistant glass-ceramic or tempered opal glass designed to handle commercial dishwashers and high-volume kitchen abuse without chipping. Highly collectible because it was restricted entirely to commercial hotel contracts and never sold directly to the public

Care Note: Hand wash only recommended to preserve the vintage metallic gold finish.
