Beautiful, authentic piece of Americana: a vintage mid-century Southwestern-style sterling silver ring manufactured by the historic Wheeler Manufacturing Company (founded 1946 in Lemmon, South Dakota). This highly collectible piece features a striking thunderbird design flanking a vibrant natural turquoise stone.

Excellent vintage condition. The turquoise stone is securely set within its bezel. It displays a gorgeous, deep blue-green hue with a beautiful, prominent dark gray and black natural matrix web running across the surface.  No surface cracks or loose edges. Fantastic aged patina.  The silver features deep, intentional oxidation within the recessed stamped areas, making the Thunderbird wings and geometric borders dramatically pop.  The band shows light, honest surface wear consistent with age.
