Each earring features a large, translucent cushion-cut stone with a brilliant-style faceting pattern that catches the light, giving them a bright pinkish-red glow.  The stones are secured by four prongs inside an ornate, antique-style silver filigree border with decorative scrollwork along the edges.  Each earring hangs from a thin leverback hook mechanism attached to a small decorative connector ring.
