YAMAHA YAS-62 Alto Saxophone [3rd gen.] [G1 Neck]

Alto Saxophone as a quality model manufactured by YAMAHA Japan.

This is a third-generation YAS-62. Equipped with the G1 neck designed specifically for the 62 series, it offers significantly improved playability, intonation, and handling. The design also reflects a more modern approach, with enhanced projection and resistance. The intonation is more stable, and the moderate resistance allows for sufficient volume without sacrificing sound quality.

The YAS-62 is a renowned model especially favored by jazz players and is highly regarded both in Japan and overseas. With its versatile tone and wide pitch range, it stands out even in large ensembles such as concert bands, making it a reliable main instrument across various genres.

Used, but good condition.

There is no major damage aside from minor scratches from normal use. As shown in the photos, there is some lacquer loss mainly on protruding parts such as the key guards and key rods, a dent on the bottom bow, a shallow dent of a few millimeters on the left-hand side next to the strap ring. None of these affect the playability or performance of the instrument in any way.

The pads are currently in playable condition. 

The finish is all original and has not been refinished. 

We will pack it carefully and securely, and ship it worldwide via Japan Post with insurance.
