An exceptionally beautiful, museum-grade presentation of a genuine 19th-century antique steel engraving titled "Una." 

 This authentic mid-Victorian print boasts phenomenal line-work detail and excellent tonal cross-hatching. 

It features distinct printed margins identifying the foundational masters: 

Bottom Left: "W.E. Frost A.R.A. Pinxt" (Painted by the renowned British artist William Edward Frost, 1810–1877) 

Bottom Right: "P. Lightfoot Sculp!" (Engraved by the master printmaker Peter Lightfoot, 1805–1885) 

The scene beautifully captures the iconic moment from Edmund Spenser’s epic Elizabethan poem "The Faerie Queene," where the virtuous heroine Una is discovered and protected by dancing woodland nymphs, fauns, and bacchantes. 

Luxury Museum Framing & Double-Glazing: This piece has been framed to an incredibly high, professional standard. It features a unique double-glazed design—with glass on both the front and reverse sides. The glass backing allows collectors to inspect the authentic age of the 160+ year-old paper matrix, watermarks, or reverse-side annotations without removing the frame. The front presentation includes a heavily detailed, premium gold gilt wooden frame with a classic repeating leaf motif. The engraving is set within an elegant, multi-layered neutral matting board featuring hand-drawn, nested geometric "French wash" border lines. 

The engraving paper is in excellent antique condition with a beautiful, natural age-toning. No heavy foxing, water damage, or tears inside the image matrix. The premium double-sided glass, matting, and ornate gold frame are entirely secure and ready to hang.

Collection Only Items
