An exceptionally beautiful and expensively framed architectural art print featuring an intricate, classical Baroque cartouche/frontispiece design.

This historic work is directly tied to the celebrated Portuguese art historian, illustrator, and academic Alberto Augusto de Souza (1880–1962), who spent his life archiving and documenting Portugal's grand palaces, royal libraries, and monumental architecture.

The piece features a custom gallery or estate attribution plaque mounted neatly beneath the artwork window, commemorating the artist's lifespan (1880–1962), indicating it was curated and framed for a private collection or gallery display after his passing.

This piece has been framed to an incredibly high, luxury standard. It is housed in a heavily detailed, premium gold gilt wooden frame with a subtle, multi-layered distressed finish. The print is set against a perfectly proportioned neutral-toned mount/mat that beautifully isolates the crisp, fine line engraving work.
