A beautiful 18th century French demi glazed earthenware pitcher or orjol with the most remarkable deep ochre colour and age worn patina. 

Originally used for pouring wine or water

A larger size piece this would be a lovely item for display on its own or alongside similar items in a collection. 

It obviously has lost its handle and is priced accordingly however, overall condition remains very good with just small areas of surface loss to the glaze.
