Vetus dual-stage waterlock / muffler for 50mm hose

Waterlock for exhaust hose with 50mm internal diameter. 

The Vetus waterlock collects the cooling water present in the system when the engine is stopped. It also has great sound-deadening capabilities and acts as a very efficient muffler. 

The NLP waterlock is made of a dual stage construction, featuring lower and upper chambers with a horizontal partition plate and a riser tube through the centre. 

The installation of the exhaust system, even in confined engine spaces is greatly simplified due to the 360° rotating top chamber - and both inlet and outlet connections can also be rotated to meet the hose, greatly easing the installation of the exhaust hose. 

The NLP waterlock is fitted with two drain caps, which can be used to remove water ahead of the winter lay-up period.

The NLP waterlock has a capacity of 4.5 litres and it suitable for exhaust runs up to around 4.5m. 

It is supplied with securing straps. 

The Vetus waterlock is made of heat-resistant plastic, but can be damaged if the engine is run without cooling water for a while.
