Ibanez Universe UV777P BK (Steve Vai Signature) 1998

The "UV777" is a 7-string guitar from the Universe series, which returned to Ibanez's catalog in 1998 and ceased production in 2012. The "UV777P," created through a collaboration between Ibanez and Steve Vai during the production of "Passion and Warfare," became popular as Steve Vai's signature model.

This particular instrument is a 1998 model, a black "UV777P BK," weighing 3.7kg.

It features luxurious specifications such as full binding on the body and neck, a disappearing pyramid fretboard inlay, and a special pyramid logo called "Light Without Heat" behind the bridge.

In terms of specifications, the Lo Pro Edge 7 tremolo was installed during the production periods of 1998–2002 and 2010–2012. This was changed to the Edge Pro 7 tremolo from 2003–2009. The neck construction changed from a one-piece maple in 1998–2004 to a five-piece maple/wenge in 2005–2012.
