Very cool dress clip from the 1930's or 40's. It has some Miriam Haskell tributes, as you can see from the photo that I added. It shows that they used this style dress clip and they are known to use wood beads and plastic backing for the stitching. The stitching is a bit messy for what I usually see in Miriam Haskell pieces so I hesitate to be sure. Someone with more knowledge may be able to tell.
