Pedro Durán Morales was one of the great names in Spanish silverwork at the turn of the nineteenth to the twentieth century. He founded his workshop in Madrid in 1886 and, from the very beginning, focused on producing high-quality silver pieces for a bourgeois and ecclesiastical clientele.

This 5" diameter decorative dish is a piece by the renowned Spanish silversmith Pedro Durán Morales. Founded in 1886, the studio of Pedro Durán became well-known as a "royal silversmith" for the King of Spain. He became an official supplier to Spain's royal family in 1899, establishing the firm's reputation for high-quality craftsmanship. His "signed silver" became a hallmark of the brand's third generation, known for its distinctive designs and global footprint.

Features a detailed repoussé design, a technique where the silver is hammered from the reverse side to create a raised relief.
