Unique vintage hand-painted wooden folk art wall plaque featuring a black-and-white tuxedo cat surrounded by colorful flowers and greenery.

The piece has a charming rustic/folk-art appearance and is constructed from wood with a raised circular wooden rim. The artwork appears to be hand-painted, with lots of colorful detail in the cat, flowers, foliage and background.

The reverse is artist signed and dated 5-18-1995. The signature is difficult to read, so I am not making an attribution.

There is a small hanging hole on the back, suggesting it was intended to be displayed as wall art. Due to its shallow recessed design, it could also potentially be used decoratively as a small catch-all or trinket dish, although its original intended use is uncertain.

Pre-owned vintage/handmade condition with visible signs of age and use. There are scratches, scuffs, finish wear and imperfections to the wooden frame, as well as some wear, fading and surface imperfections to the painted artwork. There is also some separation/wear visible around portions of the wooden construction.
