Rare antique Chinese heavily cast bronze vase with silver inlaid decoration featuring scenes with spotted deer on one side and bird with flowers on the other. Base marked with typical inlaid ‘Shisou’ mark 石叟. Likely a late Qing or Republic example.

Age-related surface wear, oxidation and patination as per photographs. Small original old repairs where there were casting flaws visible on the inside (see last photo). Please enlarge and study all provided photos as they form part of the description.
