Steel Turbo Boost MAP Sensor Filter suitable for Landcruiser 70 100 200 Series

This is a new quality Aftermarket branded Stainless Steel Heavy Duty Turbo Boost MAP Sensor Filter.
Also known as a Gas Filter No.1, Oil Separator Filter or Vacuum Gas Filter.

This modified heavy duty stainless steel filter is fitted in the Vacuum line which attaches to the Turbo Boost Sensor.

Suitable for:

• Toyota Landcruiser 70, 78, 79 Series, HDJ78, HDJ79, fitted with the 1HDFTE 4.2 litre 6 cylinder turbo diesel engine, built from 08/2001 to 12/2006 runout.
• Toyota Landcruiser 70, 76, 78, 79 Series, VDJ76, VDJ78, VDJ79, fitted with the 1VDFTV 4.5 litre V8 turbo diesel engine, built from 01/2007 to 08/2025 runout.
• Toyota Landcruiser Prado, 90, 95 Series, KZJ95, fitted with the 1KZTE 3.0 litre 4 cylinder turbo diesel engine, built from 10/1999 to 08/2002 runout.

Important information: Toyota have installed these (Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor) MAP Sensor Filters to keep Oil and Carbon out of the MAP Sensor.

They are made out plastic and have a reputation of blocking or cracking due to age and boost pressure.

If cracked or blocked, power and torque will be compromised if the MAP Sensor can't measure the boost correctly, as fuel delivery is based on boost pressure.

For Toyota CRD (Common Rail Diesel) engines, fitted with this filter and a (Variable Nozzle Turbine) VNT Turbo, it is vital there is no leak in the line between the Manifold and MAP Sensor.

If the ECU is unable to correctly read Manifold pressure, the VNT Turbos Variable Vanes will be closed to assist in building desired boost pressure - this can cause catastrophic turbocharger or engine damage.

This modified heavy duty stainless steel filter is the perfect replacement for the fragile factory fitted type.

Returns
