Crack showing on the barrel.  Currently a hairline but not 100% sure.

A key used to control an Eb tone hole was removed but still in the case.  (Of course it's not the Eb tone hole but I don't know this system well enough to make the call.)  It's on the lower joint and also controlled by it's own direct lever/key.  It will need a replacement screw rod.  

The case is a Conn and has "U.S.N." inscribed on the case tag.  So I'm guessing this is a retired Military horn as well.  It fits well into the case and the scratches on the wooden bell reinforces the theory case and horn have been married for years.  Did Conn have the horn made in France and stencilled it for Fischer?  

The barrel and top joint are stuck together and probably have been forever.  Why remove it when it fits the case?  Right?

No serial number observed.  

Pads are present but sealing condition is unknown.
