Substantial vintage sterling silver Western belt buckle featuring a bold applied connected B over V style livestock or ranch brand design. Handcrafted construction with twisted rope border, raised sterling elements and darkened recessed background. The reverse is stamped STERLING and J.O.C. Research confirms that B over V configurations were historically used as registered livestock brands, although the exact ranch associated with this buckle has not been verified. Heavy, well-made piece weighing 114.68 grams.

Vintage preowned condition with natural sterling patina and surface wear consistent with age and use. Patina has been left as found and has not been polished.
