A striking antique Edwardian brass framed wall mirror, dating to the early 20th century, approximately c.1900–1915.

The rectangular mirror has a wonderfully architectural design, with a broad brass-faced frame edged with delicate beaded detailing and distinctive raised square bosses to each corner.

At the centre is a substantial bevelled mirror plate, the deep bevel catching the light beautifully and giving the mirror considerably more character than a modern flat-glass example.

The reverse retains its old wooden boarded construction with numerous original/early pins and aged hanging fittings, all consistent with its considerable age. An old fragmentary paper label also survives on the back, although unfortunately not enough remains to identify a maker.

The brass has been gently cleaned but retains variations in colour, marks and patination appropriate to an antique piece.
