Matching pair of vintage souvenir tiki mugs from Cock's Roost, Waikiki, Hawaii. Each mug is modelled as a rooster with the tail forming the handle, in cream ceramic with hand painted yellow sponged plumage, red comb and wattle, and green sponged grassy base. "Cock's Roost Hawaii" is moulded in raised black letters on the body.

Cock's Roost was a broiler and bar on the upper level of the International Market Place in Waikiki, remembered as a treehouse-style venue with live music. It appears in Waikiki dining guides from the mid 1960s and operated into later decades. The original International Market Place has since been demolished and redeveloped, so the venue no longer exists, making these mugs a souvenir of a vanished Waikiki landmark. The mugs are unmarked with no maker's mark.

Each mug is approx. 15.3 cm high x 18 cm wide x 8 cm deep.

Condition: No chips or cracks to either mug. Please see the photos for more detail.

Please note - I have a three business day turnaround between payment and postage in my T&Cs. I'd like to be faster, but I have little kids who sometimes don't allow it! Please contact me if you need it sent sooner though, and I'll try my best!
