Great original 1858 "Mitchell's Primary Geography" an easy introduction to the Study of Geography by S. Augustus Mitchell ~ illustrated by nearly one hundred engravings and 16 hand colored maps. It was published by E.H. Butler & Co. Philadelphia ~ Sheldon, Blakeman & Co. New York. It measures approx. 7 1/2" x 6 1/2" x 1/2" thick. It is good original condition with wear consistent with its age and use including the previous owners inscriptions on the first pages, interior foxing and discoloration spots, and wear and staining to the cover.
