Vintage Stephen Schiffer studio pottery figural loon mug, artist-signed and dated 1996 on the underside.

This distinctive handmade mug features a matte-black body, raised white feather details, red eye and a sculptural loon head and neck forming the handle. A wonderful example of Schiffer’s whimsical functional art and an excellent piece for collectors of American studio pottery, bird décor or loon collectibles.

Good vintage condition with light surface marks, finish wear and signs of previous display or use. No obvious chips, cracks or repairs were observed. Please review all photographs carefully for the exact condition.
