The Alnico 5 pickups deliver a bright, clear tone with that familiar Strat sparkle and chime. I’ve tested these sets myself and they have a balanced, musical response that works well for clean tones, blues and classic rock.
The electronics use CTS pots, an Oak Grigsby style 5-way switch, cloth pushback wiring and a treble bleed circuit to help retain clarity when rolling the volume back. The second tone control is wired to the bridge pickup too.
