So, up for your consideration is this 1962 Mr. Magoo doll produced by UPA (United Productions of America). Original licensed piece marked “© 1962 UPA Pictures Inc. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED” on the back, in the neck area.

He measures approximately 13” in height. He has a cloth body with rubber/vinyl head and rubber/vinyl green hat.  The hat is attached to the head.

I have taken pictures of all parts of his body, I think.

Most of the issues are listed below: 

• Tear/rip in the neck area where the rubber head connects to the cloth body
• Fabric loss, visible stuffing mainly in the neck area
• His nose has some markings on it
• Buttons are missing
• The jacket is the piece that shows the most wear and may not be usable
• Paint loss in face and hat
• Age related wear throughout
• Ect.

This is a project / restoration piece or display item for collectors of vintage animation memorabilia.

Despite condition, this remains a scarce early Mr. Magoo collectible from UPA (1962).
