Here is a vintage travel Poker card game set. It includes a deck of KEM Plastic Playing Cards featuring Greek Mythology design in burgundy. The cards are 2.25 inches wide and 3.5 inches tall. These cards are made of 100% cellulose acetate plastic, making them highly durable, flexible, and washable. The date code on the Ace of Spades is "955" which indicates these were made April 1955. (While the copyright date on the Ace of Spades says 1935, this is the year the design was originally copyrighted, not when this specific deck was manufactured.)

The case is by E. S. LOWE, New York and made of top grain leather. They made several travel games of high quality circa the 1930's-40's. The poker chips may be made of Bakelite or other early plastic. The are uneven numbers of chips: Yellow x24, Blue x23, White x22 and Red x23. The set also comes in a cardboard box.

Very good condition overall. Cards are complete, clean with crisp edges and no creases or curling. The leather travel case has very little wear, mostly a scratch on one side as pointed out in the last photo. The poker chips have some soiling from handling, especially the white ones. The outer cardboard box has some wear.
